Obituary for Joe Fitzpatrick

Joe Fitzpatrick passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 9, at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Leslie King officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 8, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home.

Joe was born March 18, 1925, in Waco, Texas, to Frank and Winnie Warren Fitzpatrick. He was a 1942 Waco High graduate and attended Baylor University and the University Of Texas at Austin. He taught mathematics at Trinity University and retired from UT El Paso. He was also a member of First Presbyterian Church in Waco.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Frank, Jr.; and Virginia Fitzpatrick.

His is survived by his wife, Donna; sons, Scott Fitzpatrick of Waco, and Wynn and John Guillory of Brooklyn, New York; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Joe Basquez, Mac Bates, Larry LeFevere, John Marr, Mike McPhee.
