Amy Telitha Nicholson January 3, 1919 August 20, 2010 Amy Telitha Williams Nicholson, age 92, departed this world for heaven on August 20, 2010, at a care center in Kerrville, Texas. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 24 at 1 p.m. at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room in Waco, with burial to follow at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, August 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Amy was born January 3, 1918, in Brownwood, Texas to Charles Thomas Williams, a Baptist minister, and Adgar Lillian Davis Williams, a church organist and school teacher. She married Victor Wayne Nicholson in 1939 in Los Angeles, California and he preceded her in death. Amy lived in Waco, Texas for many years and was retired from Baylor University. Amy attended Wayland Baptist College and played on the varsity basketball team. Survivors include son David Nicholson and wife Neva of Kerrville, Texas; daughter Diana Lynn Taylor and husband Don of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter Molly Bailey and husband Jimmy of Heath, Texas; grandchildren, Cortney Bailey, Shawn Bailey, Scott Nicholson, Dana Nicholson Farrar, Jennifer Nicholson, James Taylor and Chad Taylor; and great grandchildren, Rachel Nicholson, David Wayne Nicholson, Summer Farrar, Susannah Farrar, Catherine Taylor, Blake Taylor and Alexis Taylor.
