Ann Fowler September 23, 1921 – August 19, 2007 Ann Fowler, 85, of Waco went to be with the Lord, Sunday, August 19, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, August 24 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Huff officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 23 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Ann was born September 23, 1921 to Albert and Martha Hopper in Priddy, TX. Ann grew up on a farm in Priddy and attended school there. She married Clyde Fowler, Sr. on December 12, 1942. Ann was employed at the Owens-Illinois Glass Plant before starting a family. She and her husband also built custom homes and Ann was the designer of the homes. She enjoyed traveling, painting and spending time with her family. She was an active member of Waco First Church of the Nazarene, where she had served on the church board, taught Sunday school and had served as Missionary President. Ann was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde Fowler, Sr.; her son, Clyde Fowler, Jr.; her siblings, Arthur Hopper, Hattie Grelle, Albert Hopper, Clara Stegemoller, Fritz Hopper, Lee Hopper, Ernest Hopper and Weldon Hopper. She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Wright, and Wanda Lewis and her husband, Robert; seven grandchildren, Laurie Akers and husband, Ernest, Melissa Fowler, John Lewis, Jennifer Decker and husband, William, Julie Lewis, Stephanie Weise and husband, Jimmy, Brittney Wright and six great-grandchildren, all of Waco.
