Anna Jean Stroup

Anna Jean Stroup October 26, 1946 - April 19, 2014 Anna Jean Stroup of Waco passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Providence Hospital. Private Family Services will be held. Anna was born October 26, 1946, in Waco, Texas to Loyd and Velma Maxwell. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1965 and attended Nursing School in Hillsboro Hospital, graduating in 1966. She worked at Friends For Life for over ten years and worked as a nurse until her retirement in 2012. She was a very compassionate nurse who truly loved her patients. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Nay Maxwell and one nephew, Lloyd Paul Jackson. She is survived by her husband, Richard Stroup, Waco, TX; one son, John Stroup and wife, Teresa, of Waco; one grandson, Richard C. Stroup; one brother, Paul Maxwell; two sisters, Marilyn Jackson of Hillsboro, TX and Marie Ybarra of Killeen, TX. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
