SCOTT, ANNE MAE Anne Mae Scott, age 81, of Waco died Monday, September 29, 2003 at her residence. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am Friday, October 3 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Mark Deering officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7pm Thursday, October 2 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave. Mrs. Scott lived in Waco all her life and was a member of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Shelby Scott, son, John Shelby Scott, Jr., parents, Antone and Teresa Gradel, brothers, Mark Gradel, Donald Gradel, John Gradel, Bernard Gradel, and Robert Gradel, and sister, Audrey Gradel Gottwald. Survivors include daughter-in-law, Ursula Scott of Stockdale, Texas, son, Mark Scott, Sr. and wife, Sandy of Austin, grandchildren, Carlyn Scott of Garland, Monica Kilpatrick and David Zahirniak of Robinson, J. Shelby Scott, III and James Richard Scott of Stockdale, Mark Scott, Jr., Steven Scott, and Shawna Scott all of Austin and Melanie Rodriguez of Eagle Pass, sisters, Mary White of New Braunfels, sisters-in-law, Martha Gradel and Letha Gradel both of Waco, brother, Roy Gradel and wife, Barbara of San Antonio, great grandchildren, Kimberly and Dwayne Sowders, Shelby Kilpatrick, Kenneth, Kody and Kolton Zahirniak all of Robinson and Alexandrea Rodriguez of Eagle Pass, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be David Zahirniak, Glenn Herring, Gary Gradel, Kenneth Gradel, David Gradel, and Steven Gradel. Honorary pallbearers are Ben Englebrecht, Jerry Jansing, Michael Jansing, John Fulbright, and Robert Muhl.
