Anne Ressler Meyer February 1, 1951 January 4, 2014 Anne Ressler Meyer passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014, after a brief illness. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 7, at Highland Baptist Church. Anne was born February 1, 1951, in Waco, to Margaret and Parke Ressler. She was the granddaughter of Blanche and Jinx Tucker. She lived her entire life in Waco, graduating from Richfield High School and Baylor University, where she was a member of the Athenean Club. She was also active in the Junior League of Waco. Anne worked many years for Waco ISD. She was a dyslexia reading coach and a certified special education teacher, and was loved by her students and co-workers. Anne was active at First United Methodist Church as well as Highland Baptist Church. She loved all animals, large and small, especially her dog, Trooper, and her horses. Anne loved to travel and was always looking forward to her next adventure. She had such fun taking her new RV on campouts and to Baylor football games. Anne had an enormous circle of friends, but the loves of her life were her two sons, Mike and Brady, and being Mimi to her two grandchildren. Anne is survived by her sons, Mike Meyer and his wife, Nadine, and Brady Meyer, all of Dallas; her dear and devoted companion, Mike Remus, of Waco; her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and John Goble; grandchildren Emme and Parke Meyer; niece, Jennifer Goble McKelvey and husband, David, all of Dallas.
