Annie Lou Nobles July 2, 1923 - September 25, 2010 Annie Lou Nobles of Waco passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010, at Wesley Woods Alzheimer's Care Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, at Waco Memorial Park with the Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Annie Lou was born July 2, 1923, in Robinson, Texas, to James and Grace Sherman. She worked for many years at George's Chef which was later known as Surf and Sirloin. She also sold crafts that she made at the Apple Tree Bazaar. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Grace Inez Sherman; husbands, Bernice Markum and Roy Nobles; two sisters, Elizabeth Davis and Dorothy Navara; and one brother, Charles Sherman. She is survived by one son, James Markum, Sr, and wife, Carolyn, Waco, TX; one daughter, Janie McDowell and husband, Duncan, Beaumont, TX; two grandchildren, James Markum, Jr. and wife, Nancy, Woodway, TX and Niki Lynn Kaylor and husband, Tom, of McGregor; six great-grandchildren, Thomas and Wesley Kaylor and Mason, Mike, Brock and Willow Markum, to all she dearly loved.
