August ''Jr.'' Mormino

MORMINO, AUGUST “JR.” August “Jr.” Mormino, age 65, of Lacy Lakeview died Sunday, October 19, 2 003 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 2:30pm Thursday, October 23 at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor Walter Albers officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Wednesday, October 22 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mr. Mormino was born March 12, 1938 in Waco. He graduated LaVega High School in 1956 and attended Baylor University and Navarro Jr. College. He married Henrietta Krueger on August 18, 1962 in Waco. He was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and also a member of H.O.T. Miniature Air Plane Club. He worked in the facilities department for L 3 Communications. He previously worked for Dickerson Fire Protection and General Tire. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and brother, Joe. Survivors include wife, Henrietta Mormino, daughters, Kathy Holland of Arlington and Kristy Lamar and husband, Jon of Waco, grandchildren, Corrie Meier of Waco and Jeremy Holland of Arlington, sisters, Julia Harper and husband, Mike of Waco and Shirley Weir and husband, Dean of Waco and a host of nieces and nephews.
