Aurora Tovar Salinas

Aurora Tovar Salinas, age 91, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017. The graveside service will 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 13, at Oakwood Cemetery. A Rosary will be held 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 12, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Aurora was born in Waco to Ignacio and Susana Calderon Tovar and was married to Louis Salinas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sisters, Frances Larson and Magdalena Ramos; and her brothers, Cresencio and Esteban Tovar. She is survived by her sisters, Gloria Alegria and Eloise Gonzales; brother, Raymond Tovar; her children, Louis Salinas, Jr., Louise Mendez and husband, Joe; Gilbert Salinas, Josephine Garcia and husband, Aurelio, Johnny Salinas and wife, Susie, and Daniel Salinas and wife, Nellie; 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren, and a very special great granddaughter, Stephanie Juarez.
