Barbara Allen Owen January 1, 1933 - December 30, 2008 Barbara Allen Owen of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2009, at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Roland officiating. Barbara was born January 1, 1933, in San Saba, Texas, to Seaborn and Nell Allen. Barbara was a member of Central Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Waco and previously lived in Richardson for 37 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Seaborn Stephens and Nell Morris Allen; brother, Frank Morris Allen; and son, Stephen R. Owen. She is survived by husband, David A. Owen of Lakewood, CO; two sons, Allen Owen of Blackhawk, Colo. and Frank Owen of Lakewood; a daughter-in-law, Susan Owen; grandsons, Marc Owen and Jesse A. Owen and wife, Sarah; one grandaughter, Savannah Megan Owen; and one great-granddaughter, Maddison Owen. Memorials may be made to The American Lung Association.
