BERTRAND ALLISON TALBERT Bertrand Allison Talbert, 87, of Valley Mills, died Thursday November 14, 2002 at his residence. Graveside services will be 10:00am Monday November 18th at the China Spring Cemetery, with Rev Kevin Moore officiating. A visitation with family and friends will be from 3pm until 5pm Sunday at the Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd... He was born December 16, 1914 in China Spring to the late John J. and Susie J. Crowson Talbert. He attended Waco Schools. He later married Dorothy Crawford on November 19, 1938 in China Spring; she preceded him in death September 1990. He was also preceded by 3 three brothers and 5 five sisters. Mr. Talbert served on the Crawford ISD school board for 16 years. He was a Dairyman and Farmer by trade. A former member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Crawford he was presently a member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church of China Spring.
