Betty Anne Chenot

Betty Anne Chenot November 16, 1931 - December 2, 2015 Betty Anne Chenot, 84, passed away peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father on December 2, 2015. Her graveside service will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, December 4, at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. December 3, at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey. Betty was born November 16, 1931, to Ensor and Beulah Miller in Moody, Texas. She had two older brothers, Dan and Bob. Betty married the love of her life, Raymond Pierre Chenot, from France and enjoyed a wonderful marriage for over 60 years. Betty was a dedicated and devoted wife, mom and grandmother. She taught the 4th grade Sunday School Class and Bible Drill at Western Heights Baptist Church for over 40 years. She enjoyed cooking and supporting her beloved Baylor Bears. Betty was affectionately known as "Ninnie" to her three granddaughters. She loved keeping the girls when they were younger and playing with them for endless hours. The girls particularly enjoyed reenacting the Christmas Story in costumes with Ninnie and playing "Farmer Jones". Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her son, Steve; her parents and her brothers. She is survived by her son, Randy Chenot and his wife, Lisa, of Waco; granddaughters, Madeleine Pennington and her husband, Andrew, of Dallas, McCall Chenot of Austin and Mills Chenot of Waco. The family wishes to thank Dr. Gerard Marroquin, Bluebonnet Hospice and the staff at Ridgecrest Retirement Center for their care and kindness extended to Betty.
