Burdette Barnard October 21, 1915 - December 18, 2007 Burdette Barnard, 92, of Waco passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2007 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice, Nebraska with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. She will be in state from Thursday noon until 12:30 p.m. Friday, December 21 at Harman-Wright Mortuary. Burdette was born October 21, 1915 in Beatrice, NE to John and Rozina Marten. She graduated from Beatrice High School. She worked a number of years at the Gage County Court House. She was a member of The First Christian Church of Beatrice. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Barnard; son-in-law, Ron Wiescamp; and brother, Don Marten. She is survived by her daughters, Jeannine Wiescamp of Marlin, TX; Janniece Lammel and husband, Robert of Waco; grandchildren, Tammy Braden, Debbie, Shoop, Laura Jordan, Ron Wiescamp, Shelly Dallas and Lisa Stewart. Great grandchildren are Tara Braden, Chad Braden, Clay Shoop, David Jordan, Lisa Jordan, Jonathan Dallas, Parker Stewart and Tatum Stewart; sis, Alicine Williams of Elkton, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
