Clara G. Guerrero August 12, 1917 – November 29, 2006 Clara G. Guerrero, passed away, Wednesday, November 29, 2006 in Bryan, TX. Rosary will be recited at 11:15 am Saturday, December 2 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:30 am with Irudayaraj Nelapatti-Thomas as celebrant. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Clara was born August 12, 1917 to Julio Guerrero and Eduviges Garza in Waco, TX. She worked in the defense plant in McGregor during World War II and then worked as a translator at the Veterans Administration facility in Waco. Clara was a devoted member of St. Francis Catholic church and then at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. She was a person with a true servant’s heart. Clara along with her sister, Pat, participated in several local charities including meals on wheels and Carritas. Clara was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Juan, Angelo and wife, Mary Guerrero, and sister, Luisa G. Sanchez. She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Guerrero, Pauline Menchaca and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
