COGBURN, DALE L. Dale L. Cogburn, age 54 of Whitney died Monday, May 17, 2004 in an automobile accident. A celebration of his life will be held from 3-6pm Thursday, May 20 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Born April 8, 1950 in Waco, Dale worked at T.S.T.C. for 24 years in meat processing and marketing. In 1999, he went to work for P.F.G. in Temple as Meat Operations Manager. Dale was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He loved cooking and having friends over. Survivors include his mother, Ira Cogburn-Mayo; father, Travis Cogburn and wife, Katherine; daughters, Jamie Veselka and husband, Daniel and Julie Cogburn; ex-wife, Pat White; friend and partner, Debbie Powell; grandchildren, Myah, Mason and Mabry Veselka; sister, Sharon McElvany; and numerous other relatives and friends.
