Zacharias, Doris Doris Lucille Zacharias, 84, passed away July 5, 2005 at her residence. Services will be Friday, July 8 at 1:30 PM at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Dan Brandt officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. Mrs. Zacharias was born June 3, 1921 to Henry and Lucille Sprague Eggers in Grafton, North Dakota. She later moved to Texas and met and married Alfred L. Zacharias December 28, 1948 in New Braunfels and moved to Waco in 1950. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Waco Christian Women’s Club, Order of the Eastern Star McLennan Chapter 639, Past Princess of Merak Temple 104 Daughters of the Nile, Fowlkes Haun Speech Club, United Commercial Travelers Aux. 214, Waco Federation of Women’s Clubs, President’s Club, Emerson Club and Past Worthy Matron and longtime secretary of the Social Order of the Beauceant Waco Assembly 199. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Alfred. She is survived by brother, James S. Eggers and niece, Susan Heath of Edmond, Oklahoma; nephew, James M. Eggers of San Antonio; cousins, Ruthie Kolton, of Chicago, Illinois, Leonard Sprague of Santa Barbara, California, Manville Sprague of Manhattan Beach, California and Mike and Nita Rose of Des Plaines, Illinois. A special thanks to her caregivers, Jane Polston, Yvonda Daniels, Sylvia Williams, Marilyn Prince, Michelle Prince and special friends, Leslie Kinchen and Amy Lockman who gave her much love and support.
