Dorothy Lee Hefner April 5, 1916 - February 26, 2013 Dorothy Lee Hefner of Waco passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, at Waco Memorial Park with the Rev. William Gray officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 1, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Dorothy was born April 5, 1916, in Roaring River, North Carolina, to James and Clementine Greenwood. She married the love of her life, Warren G. Hefner, and they were blessed with one daughter, Janice Kay Hefner. She was a member of Central Baptist Church for more than 60 years. Dorothy blessed many with her continual positive attitude and zest for life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Grover Hefner; and daughter, Janice Kay Hefner. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the love and care given to our Aunt Dorothy by Regent Care Center of Woodway.
