Dorothy Walton Thornburg April 1, 1926 - November 22, 2014 Dorothy Walton Thornburg of Robinson passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014. Her Memorial Services will be 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 26, at the Chapel at First Baptist Church of Waco with the Dr. Matt Snowden and Dr. Randall Perry officiating. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 26, at the Chapel at First Baptist Church Waco. Mrs. Thornburg was born April 1, 1926, in Houston, Texas, to Enoch and Bonnie Walton. She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed working alongside her husband, Rev. Bryan Thornburg, in his ministry. Mrs. Thornburg was a devout member of First Baptist Church of Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She is survived by loving husband, Rev. W. Bryan Thornburg and daughter, Joy LaRue Thornburg, both of Robinson; son, Jon K. Thornburg and wife, Diane, of Bedford; granddaughters, Erica Soeun and husband, Sarom, of Burleson and Karla Thornburg of Ft. Worth; and great granddaughter, Audrey Soeun.
