Doyle Ray Butch Polonsky July 3, 1945 - July 31, 2007 Doyle Ray Butch Polonsky of Waco passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, August 3, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Meier Settlement Cemetery in Riesel. Visitation will be from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 2, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Butch was born July 3, 1945 in Galveston to Ida and Issie Polonsky. He graduated from Waco High School in 1964. He worked for the Veterans Administration Office for 30 years until his recent retirement. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1966 to 1970; and was also a member of the American Legion. Butch was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by sisters, Sherry Byars and husband, Bruce; Burma Frisco; brother, Allen Polonsky and wife, Jeanette; all of Waco. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, whom he deeply loved. Memorials may be made to charity of choice, Fuzzy Friends or Waco Humane Society.
