Edwin Powell Horner November 27, 1915 - February 2, 2008 Edwin Powell Horner of Waco passed away Saturday, February 2, 2008. Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, at Lakewood Christian Church with the Rev. Jack Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery . Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 5, at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Garden Room. Edwin was born in Davis, Oklahoma, to Harry and Mary Horner. He was associated with Baylor University Law School, Frost National Bank and St. Mary's Law School in San Antonio. Edwin has been a lifelong Christian and a member of Lakewood Christian Church in Waco. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Arden Horner; daughters, Suzanne Berry of Belton, Texas; and Claudia Clarkson of Allen, Texas; son, Roberts Horner of St. Paul Minnesota; sister, Alice Harris of Norman, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
