Eileen W. Haedge Abernathy May 1, 1919 - June 26, 2012 Eileen W. Abernathy of Waco passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Villa Toscana Retirement in Houston, TX. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 2, at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, July 1, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Eileen was born May 1, 1919, in Troy, TX to Edward and Anna Lee Kosel Haedge. She graduated from Temple High School in 1938 and attended Hieronymus Business School in 1940. She was married to Roy Abernathy on October 6, 1942, in Killeen at the First Methodist Church. Eileen was a member of Park Lake Drive Baptist Church and was a member of the Rebekah's. She was employed at Scott and White in Temple and also at Waco Bone & Joint Clinic in Waco. She is survived by her two daughters, Bobbie L. Abernathy of Corsicana, TX and Barbara A. Ingram of Houston; two grandchildren, Andrew Ingram and Melissa Ingram Wright; one great grandchild, Collin Ingram of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
