Elliott Michael Jantz

November 22, 1920 — July 10, 2003

JANTZ, ELLIOTT Elliott Michael Jantz, age 82, of Speegleville died Thursday, July 10, 2003, at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 11am Monday, July 14 at Oakwood Cemetery with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Sunday, July 13 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mr. Jantz was born at Elm Mott, Texas on November 22, 1920, the son of Ludwig and Emma Kemme Jantz. Mr. Jantz was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Lora Hawkins, and brother, Arthur Jantz. Elliott Jantz served in the U. S. Army during World War II and was stationed in England during his overseas tour of duty. After World War II, he became a building contractor and had followed this line of work in the Waco area for about thirty-five years. He attended Elm Mott and Waco Schools, as well as the University of Houston at Houston, Texas. Survivors include wife, Virginia Jantz; daughter, Betty Crow; son, Mitchell Jantz all of Speegleville; grandchildren, Leah Wagner, Jason Crow, Jayme Crow, and Tamara Brault; great grandchildren, Elyssa, Andrew, and Michael Wagner; sister, Bernice Chambers of Waco and several nieces and nephews.
