Emilia Vasquez Villafaa January 5, 1940 December 26, 2012 Emilia Vasquez Villafaa of Waco entered into the arms of her Savior on Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 29, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Justin Nguyen as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., and Rosary service at 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 28, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Emilia was born January 5, 1940, in Waco to Ambrosio and Ysabel Vasquez. She attended West Jr. and Waco High Schools. She worked at Clifton Manufacturing Co., and General Dynamics. Later in life, she worked for Advertising and Marketing Associates until her retirement. Emilia and her husband, Domingo, are parishioners of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. They were members of St. Francis Catholic Church from 1940-1969. Emilia was a beautiful, and loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and she loved her family unconditionally. She loved family functions watching the Cowboys, shopping, and watch her sons and grandsons play ball; and travel with loved ones and friends. With the marriage to Domingo, she was introducted to a loving family of brothers, and sisters who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest Silva in 1957; her sister, Micaela Vasquez; and brothers, Ramon and Seferino Vasquez. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Domingo S. Villafaa, of Waco; sons, Eddie Ray Silva and wife, Jackie, of Robinson, and Armando Amado Villafaa and fianc, Delena Dede Gordon, of Hewitt; grandsons, Daniel Ray Villafaa and Tyler Gordon; sisters, Sara Perez, Betty Gutierrez, Tomasa Tommie Juarez, and Eulojia Fuentes, all of Waco, and Janie Castaneda and husband, Ramon, of Hewitt; brother, Henry Parra and wife, Frances, of Dallas; and the members of the Villafaa family. Pallbearers are Robert Juarez, Larry Perez, Manuel Gutierrez, Ramon Castaneda, Danny Fuentes and Ricky Vasquez. Honorary pallbearers are Javier Villafaa, Rudy Juarez and Daniel Parra.
