Epifanio H. Garcia April 7, 1930 - August 17, 2014 Epifanio H. Garcia of Waco passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 22, at St. Francis on the Brazos with the Rev. Roman Burgos as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 21, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Epifanio was born April 7, 1930, in Asa, Texas, to Isidro and Jesusa Gayton Garcia. Epifanio was a member of St. Francis on the Brazos. He was a loving caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. He was very patriotic, enjoyed watching sports huge Cowboy fan, novelas, gardening and having his coffee and cake in the morning. He will be missed dearly by all. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Antonia Gayton Garcia; sisters, Mary Lozano, Carmen Garcia, and Victoria De Leon; brothers, Rito Garcia, Juan Garcia, Santos Garcia, Tomas Garcia, and Jose Garcia; and grandchildren, Michael Garcia and Deanna Garcia. He is survived by his children, Danny Garcia and wife, Helen, Gloria Salazar and husband, Edward of Kyle, Texas, Delia Arroyo and husband, Juan, Mary Jimenez and husband, Lupe, Johnny Garcia, Dolores Garcia of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Yolanda Rodriguez and husband, Rick, of Austin, Texas, Epifanio Garcia, Jr., Debra Yanez, and husband, Jorge, of Killeen, Texas, Thomas Garcia and wife, Gaby, of Austin, and Tonie Garcia and husband, Robert Sedillio; 32 grandchildren; 60 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren; sister, Frances Sanchez and brothers, Pete Garcia and Chris Garcia of Phoenix, AZ. Pallbearers are Danny Garcia, Johnny Garcia, Epifanio Garcia, Jr., Thomas Garcia, Rick Rodriguez and Juan Arroyo.
