She married William August Kocian on November 17, 1947, and they enjoyed 52 years of marriage until Bill's death in 2000. Ethel spent many years working as a seamstress at J.M. Wood Mfg. Co., and Big J. Apparel, until her retirement. She was a faithful member of St. Louis Catholic Church. A loving wife and mother, Ethel's life was always focused on her family. She enjoyed being involved in their lives, attending activities and providing unending support. Ethel's family was everything to her.
