Frank Jefferson Walker Iii

Frank Jefferson Walker III, 66, beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus Saturday, July 29, 2017. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 5, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Henrichs officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, August 4, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Frank was born at Carswell Air Force Base in Ft. Worth, Texas, on July 10, 1951. His daughter, Vicky, was born Sept. 28, 1976. He served with honors in the US Marine Corps 4 years and 8 years in the Reserves and worked at MCI/Verizon for 28 years. On November 12, 1982, he married Edie in Mesquite, Texas. They moved to Waco, May 31, 1985. They are members of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Sayer-Walker, and father, Frank J. Walker Jr. Survivors include his wife, Edie M. Walker; daughters, Vicky and husband, Mike Hoag, Debra and husband, Steve Elwood, and Rhonda and husband, Stuart Gehrke; son, Mark M. Lieber; grandchildren, Brent Sauter, Stephen Elwood, Jr., Megan Elwood, Sean Elwood, Dylan Gehrke, Michael Hoag Jr., and Reese Hoag; great-granddaughter, Briley Adele Sauter; brothers, Michael, Donald, and Kalvin Walker; and a sister, Patricia Holland. Pallbearers will be Brent Sauter, Donald Walker, Dylan Gehrke, Michael Hoag, Sr., Michael Walker, Stuart Gehrke, Stephen Elwood, Jr., and Sean Elwood.
