Geraldine Price Dickey June 27, 1923 - May 28, 2014 Geraldine Price Dickey of Waco passed away, Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, June 2, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Dr. Ron Durham officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 1, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Geraldine was born June 27, 1923 in Giles Community near Pecan Gap, Texas, to Arthur and Cora Jane Price. She graduated from East Texas State Teachers College. She taught home economics in Winnsboro and Waco, Texas. She was a member of Phi Beta Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa honorary Teacher Sorority, Retired Teachers Association and Emerson Club. She was involved in PTA and many church activities through the years. Geraldine was a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Robert Eskridge Dickey; one brother, Readus Price; and three sisters-in-law, Doris McLarty, Dale Smith and Carolyn Peterson. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Dunham and husband, Norman; son, Tom Dickey and wife, Debbie, of Midland, Texas; six grandchildren, Daniel Dunham and wife, Katie, Rebecca Roe and husband, Kevin, Elizabeth Ramirez and husband, Hector, and Rachel Dunham; Jerad Dickey and wife, Tonya, Tyler Dickey and wife, Katy; Dennis Butler and Christie Dailing; ten great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Mary Price. Pallbearers are Daniel Dunham, Jerad Dickey, Tyler Dickey, Kevin Roe, Hector Ramirez, Dennis Butler and Gregg Cairns. Memorials may be made to Columbus Avenue Baptist Church or Stilwell Memorial Teacher Retirement Home.
