DENARD, GLADYS M. Gladys Mae Denard, 89, of Waco went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 26, 2002. Graveside services will be at 11am Saturday, September 28 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Bobby Campbell and Rev. Allen Grant officiating. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 27 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Denard was born December 8, 1912 to John and Adeline Bugg of Waco. On April 18, 1928 she married the love of her life, Floy L. Denard, Sr., and they lived in Hewitt, Bellmead and Waco. She was a homemaker and a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt of great strength and beauty. She was a precious friend and with her sweet smile and graciousness could light up a room. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Mrs. Denard was preceded in death by her husband, Floy L. Denard, Sr.; her son, Floy L. Denard, Jr.; her parents; five sisters; and two brothers. Mrs. Denard is survived by her children, Don Denard and wife, Dorothy of Edmond, Oklahoma; Dolly and husband, Buck Richardson of Bryan; Ruby Thompson of Ogelsby; Barbara and husband, Don Stone of China Spring; Linda and husband, Ron McDaniel of Franklin, Michigan; Doug Denard and wife, Liz of Minco, Oklahoma; Kathy and husband, Russell Snider of Waco; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Hillcrest Community Hospice and Quality Care Staff for their ever-present care and support.
