Harold Lee Lewis March 21, 1923 – February 11, 2007 Harold Lee Lewis, 83, of Woodway passed away Sunday, February 11, 2007 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, at Waco Memorial Park, with Ed Wittner officiating. Mr. Lewis was born March 21, 1923 in Rogers, Texas, to Eunice Bell and Thomas A. Lewis. He graduated from Temple High School where he played in the band, then attended Temple Junior College. Harold always loved photography and after marrying the love of his life, D. Maxine Cook in Waco on April 6, 1947, he owned a studio in Brownwood. He also worked in the photography department of Holt’s Sporting Goods in Waco, and then for Windy Drum Studio. He and Maxine traveled the entire USA, making many trips to his beloved Colorado, hiking many of its trails and taking pictures. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, a sister-in-law, Billie McClain; a niece, Dana Langley and husband, Kenneth; and two great-nieces, Renee and Sarah Langley, all of Waco.
