Henley Kenneth Thomas January 5, 1928 - July 16, 2015 Henley Kenneth Thomas of Robinson passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 20, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Greg Brumit officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 19, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Kenneth was born January 5, 1928, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Henley and Rosa Bee Thomas. Kenneth served as a U.S. Marine on Kwajalein Island. He met the love of his life, Joyce, at Turner Street Baptist Church. He lived in Hillsboro until his marriage. He worked at Certainteed. Kenneth was the pianist at Turner Street Baptist and Kendrick Lane Baptist churches. He was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Betty Joyce Thomas of Robinson; his son, Larry Thomas and wife, Martha, of Waco; two grandchildren, Stephen Michael Thomas and wife, Sabrina, and a great granddaughter who will be born in July, and Stephanie Michelle James and husband, Jared; and one niece, Patti Durham. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Meadowbrook Baptist Church Building Fund or the charity of your choice.
