Hilda Ruby Smith January 6, 1916 - February 21, 2015 Hilda Ruby Smith of Waco passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015. Her service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 26, at Columbus Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 25, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Hilda was born January 6, 1916, in Waco, Texas, to Julius and Fredia Schulz. Hilda was a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. Jerome Smith; and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by one son, Robert "Bob" J. Smith and wife, Judy, of Senatobia, Mississippi; one daughter, M. Linda Bell of Heath, Texas; three grandchildren, Bryan Bell, Suzanne Fichtel and Brooke Ramsey; and eleven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Dr. W. Bryan Bell, Brad Fichtel, Hayden Fichtel, Luther Brunson, Tommy DeGraffenried and Alex Wood.
