Ida Lee McDonald November 11, 1920 – June 23, 2009 Ida Lee McDonald, formerly of Waco, went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 25, at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Kay Hawkins officiating. Ida Lee was born November 11, 1920, in Waco to Charley and Ruby Case. She graduated from Waco High School. Her greatest passions in life were her church, her family, playing bridge and especially her grandchildren. She was a great wife, mother and grandmother. Ida Lee was a longtime Methodist, and a member of Herring Avenue United Methodist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years, H.F. McDonald. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Powers and husband, Louis of Dallas; grandchildren, Mark Onstot and wife, Katrina; Tonya Johannsen and husband, Greg; Randy Powers and wife, Judy; Shawna Johannsen and husband, Terry; and Marka Herbert and husband, Donald; great grandchildren, Colton and Mallory Onstot; Jordan and Reilly Johannsen; Randy and Kayce Powers; Garrett and Reid Johannsen; Haleigh and Paige Herbert.
