Imogene Bernice Lee September 28, 1926 April 15, 2012 Imogene Bernice Mee Maw Lee of Waco passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Regent Care Center surrounded by family. Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 17 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will be at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 16 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Imogene was born Sept 28, 1926 in Redford, Missouri and raised by Oscar and Ada Lane. She married A.D Lee in 1944, and lived most of her life in Texas. She enjoyed homemaking, church activities, and spending time with her family. Imogene was most remembered for her love of her children, her sense of humor and her deep faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Ada Lane, husband, A.D. Lee, and brother, Burnell Lane. Imogene is survived by six sons and their wives, Wayne and Sharon Lee of Waco, TX; John and Tommie Lee of San Antonio, TX; Jay and Marla Lee of Wichita Falls, TX; Dan and Diane Lee of Cypress, TX; Burney and Kathy Lee of League City, TX; Sam and Mandi Lee of Wilmington, NC; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Imogene's sons-Wayne, John, Jay, Dan, Burney and Sam. The family wishes to thank the staff at Regent Care and Bluebonnet Hospice for their loving care and consideration and care of Mee Maw during her stay.
