Irene Stinson March 27, 1918 – February 4, 2006 Irene Stinson passed away Saturday, February 4, 2006. Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 8 at Rosemound Cemetery with Rev. James Adams officiating. Irene was born March 27, 1918 in Riesel, TX to Albert and Ida Rook Wooten. She graduated from Waco High School in 1937 and married Billy Stinson May 8, 1937. Irene was working at Montgomery Ward when the 1953 Tornado struck Waco. Irene was a lifelong Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband and her son, Charles David Stinson. She is survived by daughters, Carole Jones of Ft. Worth, Darlene Dockery and husband, David of Robinson, Kathelene Orten and husband, Jim of Waco and one son, Richard Stinson of Redding, CA. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many nieces, nephews and friends.
