August 31, 1917 — June 14, 2002

JACK ALLEN Jack Henley Allen, age 84, of Robinson, died Friday, June 14, 2002 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be 3:00PM, Wednesday, June 19 at Waco Memorial Park with Rev. Stephen Ramsdell officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mr. Allen was born August 31, 1917 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to George and Mabel Allen. He was a graduate of Tuttle High School in Tuttle, Oklahoma. He married Lorna Doebereiner on July 6, 1941 in San Antonio. He served in the Army during WWII. Mr. Allen was a service manager for National Cash Register Company NCR for more than 30 years, residing in Waco from 1951 to 1967 when they moved to Ohio until his retirement. They moved back to Waco in 1984. Mr. Allen was a Mason and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Waco. Mr. Allen loved to travel and square dance. Survivors: his wife of 60 years, Lorna Allen of Robinson; daughters, Karen Collier and husband Curtis of Robinson; sons, Terrell Allen and wife Debbie of Kettering, Ohio, Jack Allen and wife Billie Ann of Robinson; grandchildren, Melissa Woosley and husband Scott, Lorna Hering and husband Jim, Trent Collier & wife Kristy, Brad Allen, Kelli Allen, Tyler Allen; great grandchildren, Jordanna and Jaley Woosley, Ryan and Rhett Hering and Ashlyn Collier. Honorary pallbearers will be the Wesleyan Workers of First United Methodist Church, Trent Collier, Brad Allen, Tyler Allen and Glen Doebereiner. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Waco. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
