John Earl McDowell July 21, 1925 - March 28, 2015 John Earl McDowell of Waco passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2015, at Waco Memorial Park with Marine Corps military honors. John was born July 21, 1925, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Roy and Sadie McDowell. He was a veteran of WWII in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mae Kruse McDowell; daughters, Ramona McDowell and Dorothy McDowell; sons, Fred McDowell and Clifford McDowell; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
