MCGAUGH, JOHN John Patrick McGaugh, II, age 18 of Waco, passed away Friday, July 11, 2003. Services will be 10am Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at Waco Christian Fellowship Church with the Rev. Robert Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery. A Prayer Service will be 7pm Monday, July 14, 2003 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with family visitation to follow. John was born August 20, 1984 in Waco, Texas to Rick and Liz McGaugh. He was active in the Midway Pee Wee Football program and also very active in Midway Little League where he was a former All-Star. He attended Midway High School where he was on the Varsity Golf Team. Graduating in 2002, he had attended McLennan Community College and recently learned he was accepted to Texas Tech University in Lubbock, which he was very excited about. He was very active in local area church youth groups. John loved to golf, each year the family would hold the McGaugh Family Open at Lake Waco Country Club and through all of the razzing and joking John would always prevail over his family members. This was a very special time for him and also for his Father, Grandpa and his Uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dee McGaugh and grandfather, Trino Martinez. Survivors include his parents, Rick and Liz McGaugh of Speegleville; sister, Lindsey McGaugh of Speegleville; Paternal Grandfather, Marvin McGaugh of China Spring; Maternal Grandmother, Helen Martinez of Waco; Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, Rhonda & Daniel Jimenez, Justin, Ryan Trino Martinez; Steve & Chris McGaugh, Krystal, Katie & Madison; Mike and Jimmie McGaugh, Kristin, Marc, Matthew Mark & Martha McGaugh, Grant Gordy & Debbie McGaugh; Doug & Mitzi McGaugh, Lindsey, Leah & Bethaney; Kevin McGaugh, Jason and Adam, Keith adn Diane McGaugh. Pallbearers will be Josh Humphreys, Devon Stroud, Warren Hampton, Blake Cloud, A.J. Aiello, and Colby Kinder. Honorary Pallbearers will be Justin Jimenez, Ryan Jimenez, Pat Uptmore, Jason McGaugh, Adam McGaugh, Chris Liska, Colby Cannon,and Ryan Hartford. Memorials may be made to Charity of Choice.
