Josefa Castilleja July 17, 1911 - October 4, 2007 Josefa Castilleja of Robinson, formerly of Rosebud, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2007. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Lawrence Soler officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Rosebud. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., and Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, October 7, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Josefa was born in Waco, TX to Agustin and Maria Concepcion Castillo. She was a long-time and faithful member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church of Rosebud and of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Waco and Guadalupana member of both churches. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leandro Castilleja and one sister and two brothers. She is survived by sons, Jesse Castilleja and wife, Vicky; Edward Castilleja and wife, Blanca; Alfred Al Castilleja and wife, Marie; Leandro Lee Castilleja, Jr. and wife, Elvira; sister, Esther Castro; grandchildren, Victor Castilleja, Angela Duron, Julian Castilleja, Diane Martinez, Patricia Castilleja, Pricilla Duron, Alexandrea Tagle, David Castilleja, Gilbert Castilleja, Theresa Strain, and Rodney Castilleja; 17 great-grandchildren; and other special nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Victor, David, Julian, Rodney, Gilbert Castilleja and Raymond Puente. Honorary pallbearers are Deacon Willie Cortez, Cecilio Castilleja, Vincent Puente, Russell Duron, Tony Martinez, Felix and Tony Castillo. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the charity of your choice.
