Lera Alene Scott

SCOTT, LERA December 31, 1913-February 25, 2006 Lera Alene Scott went home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2006. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 28 at Bosqueville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 27 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Alene was born December 31, 1913 in Donie, Texas to Cora Bell and Hughie L. Hensley. She married Hansel Scott on May 8, 1931 and both were long-time members of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her daughters, Jean Onxley of Waco and Margaret Kent and husband, Don of Crawford; son, Robert Scott and wife, Dianne of China Spring; grandsons, Dub Kilgo, Perry Kilgo, Randy Kilgo, Don Deaton, and Greg Scott; granddaughters, Vicky Rafferty, Diane Booker, Sherry Green, and Robyn Moroso; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
