Lillian Terrell Sharp December 5, 1921-July 21, 2007 Lillian Sharp, 85, of Waco went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 21, 2007. Services will be held at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home at 6101 Bosque Blvd., on Wednesday at 10 A.M. with Rev. Jack Mullins officiating. Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. in the Garden Room at the funeral home. Lillian was a Waco resident for twenty three years, moving from Victoria, Texas. She was born December 5, 1921, in Kingsville, Texas, to parents, William Avery and Ovella Terrell. She married Horace R. Sharp, Sr. on June 30, 1939. Her family and her church were always the center of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and granddaughter Tiffany Heather Sharp. She is survived by her two sons and their wives, Avery T. and Pat Tipton Sharp of Waco and H.R. and Beverly Sharp of Olton, as well as seven grandchildren and their spouses: Hilary Sharp Grant and Christopher Grant of Waco; Michael Jason Sharp and wife Roberta Sharp of Blanchard, Oklahoma; Kerri Sharp Mahan and husband Joseph Mahan of Katy; Robb Sharp of Waco; Cheri Sharp of Katy; Hayley Sharp of Dallas; and Sarah Sharp of Olton. Great grandchildren include Patrick and Will Grant of Waco, Olivia, Victoria, and Gabriella Sharp of Blanchard, Oklahoma, and Paul and Elizabeth Mahan of Katy, and a brother and sister-in-law, William F. and Betty Terrell of Angleton. Pallbearers will be Joseph Mahan, Baxter Bailey, Robb Sharp, Lance Donaldson, Michael Sharp, Jonathan Grant. Memorials may be made to Lakewood Christian Church, the Tiffany Heather Sharp Scholarship Fund at Baylor University’s School of Education, or the charity of your choice.
