Lorrayn Staas Stafford passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 28, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Bob Rainey officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., Friday, October 27, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Lorrayn was born October 16, 1923, in McLennan County to Herman Martin Staas and Lena Schaeper Staas. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James E. Stafford; brother, Arthur Staas; and sisters, Leona Evans and Edna Hardy. She is survived by daughters, Dellayne Helmstetter, Adria Opstad and husband, Herman; son, Terry Booker; brothers, Harvey H. Staas and wife, Betty, and Gerald W. Staas and wife, Ann; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
