Louise Hernandez Lopez March 23, 1923 - January 31, 2014 Louise Hernandez Lopez of Waco passed away Friday, January 31, 2014, at The Atrium of Bellmead. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 5, at St. Francis Catholic Church with Deacon Jesse Garza officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Rosary will begin at 6:00 p.m., with visitation to follow at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 4, at Brazos Funeral Home. Louise was born March 23, 1923, in Mart, Texas, to Santiago and Candelaria Hernandez. She was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Lady Baylor Bears. She was also a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Candelaria Maciel Hernandez; her husband, David Lopez, Sr.; two sons, Ray Lopez and David Lopez, Jr.; three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by two brothers, Victor and Tony Ceja; two sisters, Anita and Angelina Garcia of Lorain, Ohio; five sons, Bennie R. Lopez and wife, Yolanda, of Midlothian, Texas; Reyes Lopez and wife, Connie, of Cedar Hill, Texas; Johnny Lopez of Waco; Jessie Lopez and wife, Josie, of Forney, Texas, and Jimmy Lopez and wife, Joann, of Bruceville, Texas; three daughters, Lupe Martinez and husband, Mario, Sr., of Waco; Vickie DeLeon and husband, Peter, of Chalk Bluff, Texas, and Mary Ann Serrato and husband, Sam, of Arlington, Texas; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Bennie R. Lopez Jr., Mario Martinez Jr., Frank Lopez, Rayes Lopez Jr., Paul DeLeon, David DeLeon and Deonte Phillip. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to Texas Home Health Care and daughter, Lupe Martinez, for their tender and loving care.
