Mandy Summers Jackson Robertson

Robertson, Mandy March 6, 1916 – October 11, 2005 Mandy Summers Jackson Robertson, 89, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2005. Services will be at 11:30 Wednesday, October 12 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Harold Horn officiating. Graveside services will be held in the Chapel at Coolidge City Cemetery in Coolidge. Mrs. Robertson was born March 6, 1916 to James Adam and Maude Bailey Summers in Woodbury, Tennessee. She moved to Texas with her family in 1920 and settled near the community of TK. She attended schools in the TK, Mount Calm and Hoen communities. She married Joe Jackson June 1, 1934. They farmed in the Munger community and later worked at Blair Stubbs Funeral Home in Coolidge. She was a seamstress and sewed for many people in the central Texas area. She and Joe attended Hubbard Church of Christ. At the time of her death, she attended Northside Church of Christ. Joe Jackson died in 1982. She later married R. M. Robertson in 1989. He passed away in April of 2001. She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents, one brother, Roy Summers and three sisters, Lura Gann, Jennie Wollard Nunn and Adline Berry. Mrs. Robertson had no children but is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
