Helen Marcile Sullins January 8, 1924 - July 17, 2015 Helen "Marcile" Sullins of Waco went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, July 17, 2015 at Providence Hospice Place. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 21, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Terry Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 20, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Marcile was born January 8, 1924, in Lorena, Texas, to Deward and Lena Taylor. She was a charter and current member of First Baptist Church of Woodway and a member of the Sterling C. Robertson Chapter of Daughters of the Republic of Texas. She spent her life dedicated to serving others and always treasured the times she spent with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Richard Cecil Sullins; three sisters, Mildred Carpenter, Maxine Mills and Marlene Taylor; and one brother, Thomas Taylor. She is survived by one daughter, Helen Jean Lathern and husband, Larry, of Lorena, TX; one son, Dr. Richard Don Sullins and wife, Brenda, of Colleyville, TX; four grandchildren, Shelly Lathern Brown and husband, Ben, Erica Lathern Duncan and husband, Brian, Barbie Sullins King and husband, Chad and Louie Sullins and wife, Julie; eight great-grandchildren, Hayden and Carson Brown, Madison and Parker Duncan, Janelle and Preston King, Avery and Reese Sullins; two sisters-in-law, Irene Tessman and Grace Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dr. Walter Gorham, Larry O'Quin, David Polley, Eugene "Sonny" Ellis, Mike Mills and Dale Dunlap. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital and or World Vision. The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and Dr. Nick Schwedock at St. Catherine Hospice for taking such extra special care of our Mom and our family.
