Marguerite Jones

Marguerite Jones October 12, 1921 October 30, 2008 Marguerite Jones of Waco went to be with the Lord in His Heavenly Kingdom on October 30, 2008, after a long battle with cancer. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, November 1, at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Barry Camp officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, October 31, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mrs. Jones was born October 12, 1921 to J.J. and Bessie Rogers. She was a homemaker and gave much of her time and herself to helping others whether it be sitting with the sick or dying or taking food to those in need. She was member of Highland Baptist Church that she attended regularly until she became too ill to do so. Preceding her in death were her husband, Cecil Jones; parents; sisters, Dorothy Connor and Juanita Rogers; brother, Buddy Rogers; and a granddaughter, Martye Pustejovsky. Survivors include her daughter, Rita Walters of Lacy Lakeview; son, Barry Bickly and wife, Cora, of China Spring; sister, Mozelle Moore of Presho, SD; granddaughters, Melissa Futch of Eddy, Martie Sielaff of Waco, Robby Walters of Chalk Bluff, and Amanda Baker of Yoakum, TX; 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
