Marilynn M. Wilson June 2, 1922-February 5, 2008 Marilynn M. Wilson passed peacefully from this life Tuesday, February 05, 2008. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 8 at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco. Visitation will be Thursday evening, Feb. 7, 6-8 p.m., at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Marilynn was born June 2, 1922, in Hillsboro, Texas, to William H. and Anna Lee Fawcett McAllister. She attended Hillsboro and Waco High Schools and graduated from MCC Nursing/Administrative Education. She was married to her husband of 54 years, Russell L. Wilson, on March 27, 1954. She was a licensed vocational nurse and nursing home administrator 42 years, retiring in 1985. She was a past president of the TLVNA. She was a member of the Karem Shrine Temple Traveling Camping Texans and enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid race car fan. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Russell L. Wilson, Jr.; a grandson, Kevin Don Bradburry; a sister, Anna McAllister Martin; and a beloved son-in-law, Richard Don Bradburry. Survivors include daughters, Lana Bradburry of West, TX; Ruth Thornton and husband, Jack, of Speegleville, TX; son, Milton L. Mitch Wilson of Ennis, TX; sister, Lena Rowell of California; and brother, Phillip McAllister of Calif.; grandchildren, Jackie Bradburry, Missy McCartney, Austin Lee Wilson, Jamie Holt, Amy Harris, Coy Len Wilson, Cameron Wilson, Rusty Thornton, and Matt Thornton; 10 great grandchildren; and many cherished friends and loved ones. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family would like to thank Phyllis Webley and Sister Mary Theresa, the Subcare Unit at St. Catherine's and Providence Hospice for their wonderful care.
