Marliese Erika Chavez June 29, 1938 - March 15, 2016 Marliese Erika Chavez of Waco passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016. She was reunited with her loving husband of 58 years, Don, who preceded her in death on January 24, 2016. A private family service will be held later at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. Marliese was born June 29, 1938, in Butzbach, Germany, to Willie and Anna Maria Klein. She was a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker. Truly the matriarch of our family with a deep rooted German heritage. She was a good friend to many with a listening ear. Marliese was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Waco. She is survived by her daughter, Pat Mason and husband, Chuck, of Malakoff, Texas; son, Raymond Chavez and wife, Marci, of Hurst, Texas; two grandsons, Aaron and Dustin Mason; and her aunt, Erika Young of Leander, Texas.
