Mary Frances Montgomery November 8, 1916 - May 28, 2009 Mary Frances Montgomery of Bedford passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009, at Heartland of Bedford. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 1, at Waco Memorial Park with Warren Hankammer and Rev. Ronnie Rowe officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, May 31, at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey. Mary Frances was born November 8, 1916, in Texarkana, Arkansas, to James Daniel and Lena Shaddox Smith. She was a loving housewife and homemaker. She was an active member of Central Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. Mary Frances was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 48 years, Albert Edward Monty Montgomery. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Hankammer and husband, Warren, of Bedford, Texas; and son, Jack Montgomery of Dallas; one granddaughter, Micah Hankammer of Dallas; one niece, Jill Stark and husband, Fred, of Port Charlotte, Florida; and several nephews, including Dr. J. William Smith and wife, Amanda, of Waco, and numerous great nieces and nephews. Memorials in her memory may be made to Central Presbyterian Church, Meals on Wheels, or Young Life.
