Mary Louella McDaniels February 8, 1914 - September 6, 2010 Mary Louella McDaniels of Waco passed away Monday, September 6, 2010. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, September 9, at Rosemound Cemetery with Rev. Amos Humphries officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, September 8, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mary Lou was born February 8, 1914, in Gholson, Texas, to Van and Ida German. She and Ollie McDaniels were married June 28, 1934. She worked and retired from the department of Food Services at the Waco State Home The Waco Center for Youth after 20 years of service. She was a long time member of North Waco Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, Ollie Elliot McDaniels; daughter, Mary Elizabeth McDaniels; son, Wyndell Royce McDaniels; three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Rogers, Waco; son, Stanley McDaniels and wife, Lana, of Riesel; daughter-in-law, Wanda McDaniels of Waco; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister, Alice Wright of Rancho Cordova, CA; and many nieces, nephew and friends.
