Mildred Laird

Mildred Walsh Laird of Waco passed away Friday, December 7, 2007. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Mildred was born April 27, 1917 in Waco, Texas to John M. and Ellen Elizabeth Marquick Walsh. She married H.E. “Buck” Laird on April 23, 1938. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: John M. Walsh, Jr., and sisters: Sidney White and Florence DuPriest. Mildred is survived by her children: Allen Laird, of Waco; Richard Laird, of Denton; Ronnie Laird and wife, Mitzi, of Waco; and Patricia Laird Ramirez and husband Diego of Denton; grandchildren: Matt Laird, of Garland; Sally Miller, of Boise, Idaho; Brent Laird, of Phoenix, Arizona; Mark Laird, of Austin; Jenna Laird, of New York City, and Delaney Ramirez, of Denton; and sister, Bonnie Ewing, of Waco.
